Finally getting around to putting up some new pictures since my vacation. Here's a bunch of stuff that I'm still working on.

I'm back from an amazing adventure to France. It was most definitely an awesome time. The french people helped me see things in a whole new light. So with that I've returned with a new vigor and drive to tattoo the bejeezers out of y'all. So send me some crazy ideas and we can get started!!

Updates and

Hi ho hi ho, it's off to France I go. Well folks, as of today I'm on a much deserved vacation. My first month at the new studio has been an overwhelming success and I have all of my amazing clients to thank for it. What better way to celebrate then risk life and limb hurtling across the ocean for a baguette.

As it stands now I'm booking the tail end of July and the list keeps on growing. So if you're planning on getting a tattoo but need some time to build up the funds, I'd suggest touching base with me for a consultation now. I estimate about a month and a half wait between the initial consultation and the actual tattoo. This affords time for both me to get that design just right and you to save up the appropriate scratch. Remember most larger scale work will require multiple sessions anyhow so splitting your sits up often makes things a little more affordable.

Also, a reminder that the best way to get ahold of me is through email (tattoosbyandrew@gmail.com). I receive a substantial amount of emails on a daily basis but I do get back to everyone. It just sometimes takes a little bit. I answer all emails in the order that I receive them as to keep it fair. I now dedicate one full night a week to replies.

Over the next 3 weeks there will be a much longer delay in responding. As I mentioned before, I'm going on vacation. France to be exact. I don't expect to have any Internet access while there so I will not be checking my email. The first full day I'm back in Vancouver (first week of July) will be spent catching up on all of the correspondences I wasn't able to check while away.

So until I return I hope you all have a wonderful Start to summer and I'll hope to see you all when I return and when I do I'll be bursting at the seams with new inspiration. I'll be ready to throw down and produce some mind-blowing tattoos themed with the finest French cheeses and highest quality striped shirts and silken barrettes.

Settling into the new studio

I'm now officially tattooing full time at the extremely exclusive and nameless private studio alongside some legendary local artists. I couldn't be happier and neither could my clients. Those that have been lucky enough to be the first handful to get tattooed in the new space have been overwhelmed by it's beauty and tranquility. The absence of foot traffic and lookie-loos provides an amazing atmosphere and no distractions to ensure that your tattoo gets maximum radification. Here's some examples of what I'm talking about

So it's official!!!

As of May 1st 2011 I will no longer be tattooing at Sacred Heart Davie st. After 5 amazing years I've decided to change my approach to tattooing and am moving to a private, BY APPOINTMENT ONLY studio located at #301-1540 West 2nd Avenue Vancouver. In the landmark Waterfall building.

As much as I love tattooing in a busy street shop, I want to be able to give the best possible experience to my clients. I feel that sometimes a street shop can be filled with distractions and interruptions and the hustle and bustle can be unsettling to clients. At my new studio there are no walk ins and no counter staff. With the exception of a couple other amazing artists, it will be just me and my clients in a quiet and soothing atmosphere. I will no longer be bound by strictly set hours and frequent questions from the front lobby. Now more time can be spent focusing on each clients artwork and specific needs. It is a new day and one that I hope to share with my many regular clients, as well as, a new generation looking for something different in a tattoo studio.

Toronto tattoo trip

So everything has been solidified. I will be tattooing at Hartless tattoo in Toronto
961 Bloor st West 2nd floor unit 1. Its my buddy Derek's private studio. He's a killer artist so you should check him out @ Hartless Tattoo. I will be tattooing between Tues March 8th and Tues March 15th. 12-6. I'm about halfway booked so now's your chance to get some fun tattoos. Email me soon to ensure you get a spot.

Tattooing in Toronto

Hey everybody, so I'm coming back to Toronto to tattoo a handful of people between March 8 and 15th. I am stoked to be home for a bit and hope to tattoo as much as possible.
Availability will be on a first come first serve basis. If you would like to get something done please email me with your idea, placement, and optimal days available. There has already been a ton of positive feedback and and spots are filling fast.
