Start of a 3/4 sleeve

Started this beta fish 3/4 sleeve today. I second guessed the top half. It just didn't sit right to me so I scrapped it and only did the bottom. I'll stick the top half on the next session. I'm rather stoked on this one.

I recently was given the honor of getting to tattoo the legendary Mike Davis of MC5 fame. You might know them as one of the first punk rock bands ever and the creators of such classics as kick out the jams. Needless to say he and his wife are fantastic people. I haven't met more welcoming people in a long time.

Zombie lighthouse?

So a client of mine and I were talking during a sitting the other day about ridiculous tattoo ideas. I jokingly suggested he get a zombie lighthouse to fill a small thin strip on his otherwise filled arm. I mean how can you zombify any inanimate structure let alone a lighthouse? Well he called my bluff and forced me to put my money where my mouth is. I've done a rough sketch and a black and gray painting of it and will post a pic of the tattoo if we ever do it. Sometimes I love my job.

so I picked myself up a little moleskin sketchbook and watercolor pad and I'm attempting to sketch and paint in them on a nightly basis. Thought It would be fun to post them up here
periodically.

So here i am starting a blog.

In recent weeks I've been frustrated with updating the sacred heart website, my personal facebook, my tattoo facebook group, and my personal website. It's just too much. So I'm going to be putting all of my efforts into this super easy blog. Or at least I'm hoping that this will be an easy way of doing things.
